Data analysis has shown that on average 70% of the time CancerSEEK has
successfully detected early signs of cancer in each of the eight types (Cohen
et al., 2018). The experiment was conducted using 1005 patients with cancerous
cells that had not yet spread throughout the body (Cohen et al., 2018). Results
had shown that the highest success rate for early detection was found in the
liver, stomach, ovary, pancreas, and esophagus, displaying 68%-98% positive results
(Cohen et al., 2018).
