What are the effects of Ebola? The Ebola virus causes uncontrollable bleeding externally and internally.  Bleeding of this nature  can lead to death .after the ebola virus breaks through the body’s defenses you have roughly  anywhere from 2 to 21 days for it to take effect. The large range has to do with  due to whether you had a direct infection or not. Direct infections include but are not limited to hypodermic needles which are heavily used tools in the medical field;  these needles have a hollow tube that is attached to  avery pointy tip,  or a syringe. Direct infections can also be something as  simple as close contact.The Ebola virus is  like none other ever seen before. In order for the virus to reproduce, it has to go through a process in which  the virus selects different bacterias for cloning. This is what allows there to be genetic code errors which in return creates subtype of the virus. The Ebola virus has its own unique way of attacking the body’s natural defenses. It uses a process called neutrophils, which is a process that blocks off  the ability of  cells to signal other cells. Which is unfair for the white blood cells who are in charge of alerting the immune systems to defend and attack viruses. After the virus gets past the bodies defenses it begins to vastly multiply itself, and creates a protein “called ebolavirus glycoprotein”, i know it’s quite a mouthful.  What this virus does is attached itself to cells on the inside of the blood vessels. Why is this very dangerous you may ask? This process thickens the blood which slows down blood flow. It compares to  pouring a slice of  ice down your throat. Ouch! Often times the above symptoms don’t show in some patients. Some say the patients that don’t experience this are lucky, well i’m here to tell you that’s far from the truth because those patients will experience leaking of blood which will eventually lead to shock and sadly that’s followed by death. Ebola doesn’t pick and choose it infects every part of you, your liver, kidney, spleen and brain.
